Primarily a materials recovery facility (MRF), Greenstar Pittsburgh can also act as a broker for single stream and commingled as well as bailed recyclables. Specifically: Aluminum cans, steel/bimetal/tin cans, glass containers, small rigid plastics (1-7), corrugated cardboard, newspaper. Services also include one on one with municipalities regarding single stream recycling, how to improve collection rates and hauling contract negotiations. Lease of bailing equipment may be available depending on expected quantities generated. |

They operate a state-of-the-art shredding facility on the Northside of Pittsburgh and provide both Off-site and On-site shredding. In 2011 they opened a new record storage facility in Lawrenceville which is minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. The Paper Exchange is a member of the National Association for Information Destruction (NAID) and is AAA certified. |
